So do you guys think

Being an optimist ...

I think I'd see an increase in the number or approvals / RFEs.
I just hope they jump start the process ....at the moment there is no way to estimate when one's I-485 will be approved.

In how many days will come to know about NSC’s progress, starting today???. What you guys think????

In case NSC starts working on the pending EB cases on full throttle starting today, then probably from tomorrow onwards we'll start seeing some inputs on this Forum and Rupnet, as some of us will start finding approvals, RFE's, FP, 2nd RFE's, and 2nd FPs etc. on the BCIS website.

As it was stated in some posts here that on an average a IIO works on 15 to 20 cases everyday, and with, I guess, 15 - 20 officers on EB cases, they should start sending out 225 to 400 cases on the daily basis. With this many status updates daily even if we see a very small percentage of people entering their details on this forum, we should see at least a couple of entries daily.

This is my optimistic guess. But, knowing BCIS for last several years they can keep us guessing.

The taller the strawman,

the bigger is the disappointment.

Don't set yourselves up.... the current system has rarely provided any upside surprises while it habitually falls short for one reason or the other.

Why don't you guys ask your lawyers to find out whether they have any info regarding to any policy/resource changes since BCIS new year instead of keeping guessing/praying, etc. I know some lawyers usually go to BCIS to have meetings or have some other ways to contact with them. At least they will know no less than us.

I asked my lawyer last week, and he still said right now we need to wait 24 months after filing I-485.

Thanks,

hope

NSC was supposed to be working on some other category till sep 30. hopefully we will see the processing og i-485s moving faster....

It is so comforting to see that my guess was right.

There are 3 approvals posted by individuals on this forum and ghee ran his stat program and posted results indicating a number of approvals there too.

I hope things start moving north now.
