Here is my delima:

I want to apply as Skilled Worker and need to get at least 67 points.

Based on Skills Assement tool on: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/assess/

Following options having negative affect under "Factor 5 - Arranged Employment (maximum 10 points)". Every question asks for to be working in Canada for at least 1 year...Well, I have been working for only 5 months but my work-permit is valid for another 19 months...If I indicate that I don't have at least 1 year of employment in Canada I am getting "0" points.

Another problem: "Factor 6 - Adaptability (maximum 10 points)". If under "3. Principal Applicant or Spouse / Common-Law Partner has worked in Canada" I checked " No, or has worked full-time in Canada for less than one year" Again, I am getting "0" points...

Bringing my total to 65 points...which is lower than average of 67.

My question to you guys...is this " Should I go ahead and still apply and assume by the time they'll review my application I'll have at least 1 year of experience or should I wait for another 7 months...when I reach 1 year work experience in Canada and then apply?

Has anyone faced such problem when applying as Skilled Worker?

Any suggestions or thoughts you can share is very appreciated.

Get marry and increase your work experience.

You apply after 7 months, So 1 year experience will give you more points. and if possible get marry. So spouse's master/bachelor degree will give you 5/4 extra points.

If possible, join any french class(not only suggested by CICwebsite), but any. and you can attach atleast 'fee paid receipt' with application, and later get certification and forward to Canada application. It can also increase your points.
