single entry visitor\'s visa

Hi,

I applied for a visitor\'s visa to Canada and got it. I specifically requested for a \'single entry visa\' and I got just that. This is because I wanted only a weekend trip to Canada, and also \'multiple entry\' was costlier.

Okay so my question now is, people tell me that even if it\'s a single entry visa it may be used for repeated entries into Canada from USA.
is this true?.

and being an Indian (with an H1), will this apply to me too?.

Yes, you can enter canada multiple times with a single entry visa only from US.
If you want to enter canada other than US, you need multiple entry.
It does not matter your H1B status.

HI I am a Filipino who got a multiple entry tourist visa from Canada to the US. I am now in The US and I want to go home to the Philippines. Can I use the same Visa to enter the US From the Philippines?
