Single entry US visa - visit canada and come back to US

My parents are visiting me in the USA. They have a single entry Visitor's VISA. If they have a VISA to visit Canada - can they Visit Canada for a short trip (about a week or so) and come back to the USA. They will be travellinbg by road.

If you parents have single entry visa... NO ,they wont able to come back....(dont even try).

But yes, If they have Multiple entry US visas...they can get back to US from canada.....
