I did my landing on sep 1 2006 and applied for SIN on the same day.They told me that the SIN card would be sent to my friend'd address in 4 or 5 business days.

But my friend hasnt received it yet.
Does anybody know how long does it take these days for the SIN card to be sent by them?
Also how many days should I wait before asking from friend in canada to contact them?

Is there any way to check the status of the SIN card.Also how many weeks does it take for them to sent the PR card?

4 to 5 business days? That sounds very fast (unrealistic, in my opinion). Normally it takes at least 2 weeks...(according to my first hand experience).
May be the HRDC has become very fast these days??
