I landed in canada on July 4th 2000. Was there for a week go a driver licence and sin card and returned to the US to complete my job. The job situation in the US being as it is may result in my losing my current job.

My question is

Can i return to canada?
If any one else who in my situation has what are the questions asked at the border?
I now have a wife who is not a canadian resident?
Can i sponser my wife if i successful enter canada?

thanks

<There are multiple threads about this>

<Yes, You shoul dbe able to provided you are able to prove that you will be able to support her, and have paid Canadian Taxes, proof of which I think needs to be enclosed along with your application to sponsor your spouse>

Mercury6, am I correct about the tax part?

thanks

I think you are right. But not 100% sure what criteria is needed if the sponsored person is "WIFE".
