I know this may be a silly question, but I just want to make sure...
I'm about to send in my application for permanent resident status (I just got married to an american resident). I know once I file, I'm not suppose to leave the country without an advance parole document.
We have a trip to Puerto Rico next week, now, I'm aware that Puerto Rico is part of the United Stated and I believe that wouldn't be traveling abroad... I just want to make sure that this is the case and I don't have to go through immigration again coming back from Puerto Rico.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
