Does anybody know the significance of the message " Your fingerprints have been received and are under review" as compared to " Your fingerprints have been received and processing has resumed on your case " ?

Significance of FP message ?

not sure how helpful this is
My status has been saying that for over 1.5 months now..that its pending review. I called NSC customer service finally to check if my fingerprints were bad or something and they said no..and that it takes a while to go thru the "check"..whatever that means.

villageMD: This is a good question. This kind of message has shown in my online status for 1.5 years. I am thinking this may be related to the FBI name check and our 485 will not be touched unless this message changes. Any comments. My online message got updated to below,
On XXXX XX, XXXX, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review
Is the above message indicating some issue either FP or name checks?
villageMD is your message still the same or did it change?? by the way did you guys call (IC & villageMD) call to check on the status since I am planning to do the same if the message doesn't change in 1-2 weeks.

"On March 25, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review."
Can anyone of you think of any reason for your name getting "HIT" in FBI database during name check?
Kindly respond, I am just trying to make sense out it.

Has anybody been approved with the 'fingerpints have been collected and are pending review' status message unchanged? We can't find any details on what the message means - lawyer didn't seem to know and fax to TSC did no good to shed light on it.
Would appreciate your comments.
