Signature on US Passport

Should a newly-naturalized citizen sign his US passport using the same abbreviated signature as on driver's license and bank/traveler's checks,
or is he required to use his full signature?

I signed mine "Homer Simpson" to pay homage to the upcoming Simpsons movie...
