signature card for EAD

From IMMhelp.com,it seems I need signature card for EAD.

Do you need to send the signature card ( a card with a blue box) along with the form I-765 when applying for EAD? I was told that this was required before but not any more. Has anybody filed for EAD recently without the signature card?

I have same question, anyone can help?

My lawyer did it by mistake

I applied with out that signature card you are talking about, but ended up getting up an RFE and still waiting for more than 2 months to get my EAD card.

In another words the card is an absolute requirement.
 
Not Always required. My lawyer didn\'t send the Signature card.

My lawyer didn\'t send the Signature card but I got the EAD approved. somtimes INS need it, its better to send but don\'t worry too much its not sent.
 
Got EAD from TSC w/out signature card

I got EAD from TSC recently without signature card. However, when I applied for EAD (at TSC) when I was on OPT (F1 visa), I submitted the signature card, as I was told to do so by the school officials.
