should RFE on EAD has any bearing on 485 ??

3rd EAD filed for my husband (Derivative)..
WAC03800*****

Primary's 485 was approved March 2002.

His 2nd EAD filed on 7Jan 2003 came only in Oct 2003, its still valid till Sept 2004. We didnt know when it will get approved as it was pending for a long long time so we had filed 3rd ead in sept 2003 , which is 4 months before the Iead of 2nd ead expires in Dec 2003.

Got RFE on 12 Jan 2004 on 3rd EAD now asking for Primary's 140 approval and marrige cert. since we already hv one EAD which is valid till sept 2004 should we reply to the RFE immediately(we have all the papers ready) or we can wait till March as we have till april to respond to RFE.

Derivative's 485 filed on Jan 07,2002 WAC02091***** Since they are so close to approve this one (Hopefully !!) , will the RFE on EAD have any bearing on on approval of his 485 ??

i got EAD RFE

it has no impact on 485


they lost my pics so they RFE me

but in the meantime i also got the

term[porary EAD
 
Hi 140_takes_forever ,
since u said "reply to RFE as soon as possible" , is there any problem if we take somer more time but do it before the deadline that they specified ?? The reason I want to wait is that then I can use that receipt notice to get the Iead if we need since the existing EAD will expire in Sept 2004.

Pls let me know if there is any reason y we shuold respond to RFE as soon as can.

i waited till the end

what happened in my case was my h1b
was goin to expire and i went and got my iead

this was mid 2002

i went and got iead valid till feb19


replied to RFE just b4 deadline

got the next EAD approved aug valid for one whole
year.

valid till aug 2003


so in that way i was lucky
