Should I wait or apply for 3rd EAD

My 2nd EAD expiry date is 03/25/2004. I initiated enquiry last month and got response that "case is pending for service consideration. Please allow us 60 to 90 days."

To be eligible for I-EAD, I must file before 90 days of the expiry date. In this case should I wait until December 15? or file EAD right now?

Please suggest your views.

Experts , what do you say?

I think you should apply for the EAD. I also got the same letter saying service consideration. You can buy everything in the world but not the time.

I would wait if I were you..

I totally agree with Jaiganesh that you shouldnt' jeopardize being able to continue to work, however in your case you have way over 90 days.. My EAD was approved in a week. So I would say wait until thanksgiving, hopefully you get your 485 approval, if not then file by end of NOv, you still have over 90 days and you are covered. Sorry But I have a feeling that if we don't get approved by thanksgiving then we probably won't be during the holiday season, we'll probably have to wait till after Jan. Goodluck!

Did you say your EAD's expiry date is 3/25/2004? Is it correct?

Yes, you can apply for your EAD to continue working. It would be helpful as it might trigger them to open your 485 case and would approve it. If you already applied for your EAD renewal and you haven't received it for 90 days or more, please go to USCIS office to get your interim EAD.

Note: you cannot work if your EAD expires unless your H1 status with your sponsoring employer is valid.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. My 2nd EAD has expiry date 03/25/2005.
Yeah, I have already got all my paperwork done for 3rd EAD application. I will send documents soon.
 
what do I need to apply for EAD...?

This time I want to do it on my OWN......pls reply.....my 3rd EAD is expiring in FEB2005.......

Also which is better...e-File..or MAIL

Did you initiate enquiry anytime? Is FBI name check / FP results done?

You should apply electronically if you need your EAD-RD right away. To be able to get I-EAD, you should go for it.

Mail is better because your all details are available at the same time and that makes the officer open your case and look into it.
