Hi. Am a GC will be 4 years in US next feb. Got married in my home country this August and was preparing to petition for wife hoping it will shorten her process once i get naturalized. We have just realized wife is pregnant and am now wondering whether i should wait till baby is born to petition. Do they simply add the baby's petition to mothers or do them separate?

If both husband and wife are GCs, baby will get GC wherever is he/she is born.
Since you are the only one GC holder now, I am not sure about your new baby status. If I find any information, I will come back and give you the update.

You will be able to bring your child to US but you need to put some efforts or once you become a citizen, your child can directly eligible for immediate relative petition.

File the petition now. If you are still a GC holder when your priority date becomes current, the baby can be added as a derivative beneficiary.

But if you become a citizen before they immigrate, you'll need to file a separate I-130 for the baby.
