It depends on when you plan to get married, where
she is now and the speed of I-485 process.
Option 1. Apply for I-485 first, then get married.
You need to apply for H-4 visa for her after marriage
if she is not in US now. After she comes here, she
needs to wait for more than one month to apply for
I-485 (common lawyer practice). Her application should be
submitted before your approval.
If your I-485 is processed too fast, then she may not
have a chance. The only control in I-485 process is
to delay Finger Print by reschedule.
Option 2. Get married first, the apply together.
She needs to be in US for at least one month. Then you
can apply together. It\'s safe but you need to wait for
a few months.
