Should i send letter thru Congressman ???

I have filed for my I-485 in june 2001.... had my both fingerprints and my second biometric was in feb 2006..... I still havent heard anything from them...
I put an inquiry and recived letter that your process is complete .. it will take 120-150 days for final approval....I dont understand what the heck is taking so long jus to approve my GC. and all of my freinds filed in 2002-2005 and they all recieved there green cards.
So i was wondering if i should send a letter to NSC thru congressman, will that help??? and how am i gonna find a congressman......

I think you should Send a letter to your local congressman/senator right away. I have heard that you can also set up an appointment with a USCIS officer through infopass to inquire about your case. You can find your congressman/ senator from house.gov and senate.gov using your zip code.
