Seems my PD becoming current will take ages. Right now EB2 cut off is Jan 2003 amd my PD for EB3 is Dec 2003. So if I file in EB2 thru PERM and have I140 approved, then retain old PD and file for 485. Can anyone please tell if this is an option. Also any estimate for time frame and the cost.

Thanks

As per Pearsons memo you can retain your priority date, but no one understands this law or dont want to read it. SO I dont know whether you will be sucessfully ever be able to do so.

I send 4 letters to INS asking them to transfer my old I-485 to my newly approved EB-1 I-140. I also included copy of law and highlighted required portions but till now NOTHINS HAPPENNED. SO I had to file my second I-485 based on ym new I-104 EB-1. What a waste of ANother 1200 dollars, all because of their ignorance to law.
