Should I reschedule my interview?

My interview is on December 11, and on that day, I have final (im a college student)
The interview is gonna take place in San Francisco at 1 pm. And I'm taking my final in LA at 3-6 pm. I have to choose between interview and final and I chose the interview but I don't know if this is worth it.

Do you think having a final on the interview date is a good reason for rescheduling?
 
i already asked the professor, and his answer was not very clear. He said "we can work things out." But he didnt give me a date and how im gonna take final.
This class is really important by the way and there are over 200 students taking it and i really have to do well in it.
The thing is I might have to fly back after the interview and take final on Dec/12
but then im scared i won't have time to study and do well on the final because my mind is busy thinking about the interview.......
why the heck does it have to be on the same day! like seriously it could have been december 12 or 13 or 14 and i would have been fine...
 
emiko you should actually consider yourself lucky you got an interview in 3 months, and about the exam, show the prof the interview paper and tell him you have to go otherwise you will put your immigration status at risk, i am sure he will understand , and he told you he will try to work things out, try to take the exam early..good luck
