Should I Renue my H1 ??

My H1 expired two weeks back,and my employer refused to renue it who had promised earlier that she will renue it ,
Now she has asked me work on EAD.I am Working with the same employer who has filed for my green card.Gurus Please advice is it safe to work on EAD or renue the H1 which has 2 years left on it . And when should I file for my Third EAD ?

You can not renew your H1, the day you started working on EAD

I Belive that you should have renewed/applied your H1 visa before its expiry. Now you have started on your EAD, your H1 is no longer valid and your cannot go back to H1b status. All you can do is apply for a new H1 which comes under the H1 Cap.
 
Thanks for the info ,I guess then I should stick with the EAD now no other option.So when should one ideally file for the third EAD in my case
 
About 90 days before expiry of EAD and you may ask your company to pay for it as they would have paid for your H1B !!
 
These days EAD renewals are taking longer.

I recommend filing 6 months before the expiry of the current EAD.
 
Thanks for the info but i heard that you cannot file before 90 day is it true if not then I can file now itself ...
