Should I look for another employer?

Hi there,
My LC was submited back in 2003 May as non-rir to MA. I don't know where my application is now. My employer is not willing to find out for me and my lawyer never answers my question. However, there are many people who already god GC through the same lawyer and she's the assigned immigration laywer by my organization.

Should I look for another employer to file perm or should I just wait since my application's been sitting almost 2 years? If my application was sent to one of backlog center already, I heard 1-2 years should be added to my waiting time. Is it correct?

If you are in EB3 category, it is good to hold on your priority date as things seems to getting worst with EB3.

My employer insists me that the laywer should have submited the application as EB2 and told me that my organization always use EB2 only, but I doubt it because I didn't have master's degree and had only 1 year work experience back then.. I guess I should just wait based on EB3 situation..
