Should I keep or change address after filing?

I have applied for US citizenship in Wisconsin and completed fingerprints last May.
I'm about to move to a different state following a job opportunity but will keep
the house (and family) for a few months (December 2010 or so) until we sell
the house and complete our relocation.
In the interim, I will keep my house, Wisconsin driver license and car registration. I'll
rent a temporary place in the new state for couple months.

My question is, can I keep my Wisconsin address or should I make an address change
and transfer my case to the new state?
I would prefer keeping my Wisconsin address hoping to get my citizenship process
completed between now and December 2010 but I also want to make sure I'm following
the rules set by USCIS.

Thanks for your replies and inputs.

Keep the present address

I would keep the present address till Dec 10. May be you will get Citizenship by then. If not, maintain the residence in Wisconsin till you get one.

Given that your move to the new state is for a long-term relocation and not a temporary assignment specific to a project, and your house (presumably) is up for sale or about to be put up for sale, USCIS (and other government agencies, if they investigate your situation) would be likely to see the new place as your place of residence. So you should notify USCIS of the new residence and change your license and registration, after which USCIS will require you to live 3 months in the new state before you can be interviewed.

However, it is sort of a grey area, so you might be able to keep claiming Wisconsin as your residence for a few more months without running into trouble, if you keep your house and family living in Wisconsin and you are staying in temporary accommodation in the new state.

Thanks for your replies. I was thinking along the same lines and ended up calling USCIS
1-800 and I was told that I can (almost should) keep my Wisconsin address until the move
is complete which is what I'll do hoping that things get done in the couple coming months.
