Should I keep an old SSC or apply for new one?

I received a SSC when I was a student in New York in 1991 (card was supposed to say "Not Valid for Employment" but mine didn't). Never used it anyway. Now 14 years later I have been approved for GC - should I use this old SSC or apply for a new one?

teebee;
I am in the same situation (got SSC in 1992 and got GC recently). You don't need to change it.

If you want you can get a new one (with same SSC number) and with the wordings (stating that you can't work) removed. But it would be of the same worth as it was before you got your GC. Since I got my SSC card in 1992, I didn't have show the card to anyone (not even USCIS).
