So my reply to RFE is now half the size of my original application (maybe now over 60 pages). I gathered 5 news reference letters, including one of a department head at texas A&M with whom I'm collaborating on a research project (I hope the Texas center where they're reveiwing my case will look favorably at that!!!), new citations, better statistics on the system I work with, etc. Now, one evidence I'm not sure if I should put or not is a letter from the International biograhical centre, cambridge, england that says that I was "nominated as internationa scientist of the year". I was sure that this was a scam since I'd have to pay $400 to receive my "award" that shows my name on it, etc. But I did an online search and I saw that the institution is for real and that, a lot of researchers/professors here in the US and worldwide claim this nomination in their CV! I tried searching the name of the institution with "scam" and nothing came up. My boss thinks it's bogus and I should just throw it away. One attorney I chatted with says I should use it. but that was the same attorney whom said I should put all the documents i had originally submited for my NIW on my reply to the RFE. What do you think? should I claim it or not? I just don't want to get another RFE saying "please send us a document showing your award"! I don't want to pay $400 for the "award"!

Overview of my cases:

NIW RD 9/27/05
Transfered from CSC to TSC on 3/23/06
RFE 5/1/06

Ultimately this is your call. however I am certain that the award that requires you to pay 400 $ is a hoax and nothing else. who are these other scientists that claim the same award. or is it that the website claims that they were awarded.

I think you may have done enough in your reply already so as to not require being "awarded"

In my opinion you shd not!
BCIS is smart enough nowadays to find out about paid kinda awards.
if they found out then it goes against ur case!
