Should I go for CP or 485?

Hello all,

I am currently in my final year of H1B. My company will file for my H1B extension. At the same time, my company has filed for my GC and I am awaiting my LC approval.

Now it is time for me to decide if I should go for CP or regular 485. I want to go for CP, but not sure if that is considered as a risk. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what route I should take? How long after you get your I-140 approval do you get a call from the foreign consulate? I am from New Delhi, and that is where I will be appearing for the interview.

Any suggestions you guys can provide would be extremely helpful.

Ultamitely the desicison is yours. Generally if you have job security, can go to consualte at a short notice and don't mind spending the money for travel then CP is a good route to go.
