should I contact senator/congressman

I came to know from TSC that my case in under review and what is pending is only name check. That is the only thing remaining. The namecheck request was sent to FBI on 8th feb 2005, so it nearly 7 months.

When I called FBI they said, they are currently looking at 2002-03 requests.

What do you suggest should I wait or contact the senator or the congressman to expediate my name check.

I tried through my congressman without success. I have emailed and written regular mail letters to FBI without reply. I will also attempt to contact the Senators office in the next 1-2 weeks and try that route. I doubt that it will work!
