Should I change the address or not?

My friend's situaltion is explained below:

He works for company A in CA and lives in CA.His GC was sponsored by his former company B as a future employee at VSC.

His LC was filed in Harrisburg and got approved . RFE came on his LC which asked him to justify filing the LC from Harrisburg,PA as he was living in CA at that time. Then the lawer replied to the RFE that he will move to PA after his I-140 gets approved.

Now his I-140 got approved. His lawer is advising him to file AR-11 for him and his family memebers giving an address at PA. Is it compulsory for him to change his address from CA to PA. How ever, he is presently working for his GC sponsor and the client is located in CA, so he is continuing to live in CA.

So, if he doesn't update the BCIS with an address in PA at this time will it cause any problems during his GC process ?... I mean still he didn't do FP and his I-485 is pending.

Is any body in the same boat ? Can any body help him with any suggestions or comments....

Thanks in advance for all of you....

AR-11 is your actual address-where you live- this is a must must.
For BCIS-GC purposes- you could live anywhere and apply anywhere. Here too you can't give a fake address. This generally should be the same as the AR-11 address.

Thanks sb_tiger:confused:

Actually my question is:As the lawer had answered in the RFE at the time of I-140 THAT I will move to PA upon the approval of I-140, should I move to PA compulsorily or can I continue to live in CA as my client is located in CA.

In that case I don't need to change my address. Does it have any effect over my 485 and FP process.....

Thanks in advance for you reply.
