I will become eligible to apply for US citizenship in two years and I recently got married by this I would like to know if I have change my married name on my green card right now or if I could wait until i applied for citizenship?
I would suggest that you wait till you file in your Citizenship without going in for a name change on your green card. It will save time and dollars!! You can wait for other experts to give their views and then decide.
It's your choice. You can wait for citizenship, or you can change it now (which will cost you time and money for a replacement green card). Or you can decide to never change it at all.
