Should I apply for naturalization or not?

Hello,
I have been a permanent resident since 2008 but I've been taking re-entry permits as I was studying back home. I permanently moved here on March 19th 2013 and just took one trip for 24 days outside the US in the last 2.5 years. Am I eligible to apply? Please do help me in this regard.

We are on the same boat now. Welcome :)

First, until you get U.S. citizenship you need to refer to your home as the U.S. Do the math. If you have not taken any trip longer than 6 months in the past 5 years, you are eligible to apply now. If you did have a trip longer than 6 months you need to start counting 4 years + 1 day from the day you got back to the country. Assuming the long trip occurred just before March 19th 2013 you can probably submit your application no earlier than March 20th 2017.
