Short trip prior to filing N-400

My employer has asked me to make a 6 day international business trip. This trip falls within the 3 month window of my filing the N-400.

I meet all residence and physical presence requirements mentioned on the USCIS website. I also have resided in the state/district from which I intend filing my N-400 for over 1.5 years (own a house, pay taxes, utility bills etc).

Would this 6 day international business trip impact my naturalization application? The USCIS website had the following to say:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Residence and Physical Presence

An applicant is eligible to file if, immediately preceding the filing of the application, he or she:

has resided within a state or district for at least three months
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for sharing your experiences.

A business trip or a vacation does not change your residency.

or you should rephase, a short business trip or a short vacation does not affect. however, a long business trip / vacation does.

rocket_astro: just make sure you document when you take off and when you return; keep the passport stamps or if you do not get passport stamps when you entry to different countries, keep the airline stub.
