Hello Experts,
I am in a general surgery residency-preliminary year training program. As you may know getting a second year position after a preliminary year may not be always possible. and you may have a year of gap.
In case I did not find a 2nd year surgery position, I am thinking to shift to a surgery research program, so I would need a J1-research, and then shift back to J1-clinical once I get a 2nd year clinical surgery training spot.
Now all that shift between the visas from clinical to research and visa versa, are they possible ?
Do you advise to do it or not ? and if not can I have your suggestions ??
