I'm PR holder living in canada for 7 months so far, before that I studied in the US for 3 years, in my last year I overstayed my F-1 visa by 8 months before moving to canada.

I applied for a tourist visa at the consulat of toronto and I got it.

the officer give me the visa, BUT he said that I'm a Sevis Violator and I should expect alot of questioning when I get to the aerport.

I'm really worrying that I could be sent back when I get there, I'm going to marry my fiance and bring her here, so I'm very nervous about it .

could any body please share with me similar experience or give me any advise of what could happen once I get to the immigration in the US.

thank you all

Your F1 visa/SEVIS violation has no bearing on the B1/B2 visa you have now as long as you do not intend to goto school. As long as the CBP officer beliees you are a visitor and that is your sole purpose, you will be alright.
