Hope you're doing well!
I was thinking to apply for marriage based GC in May 2024 but wondering would there be any complications with transferring my SEVIS to a different school in August? My current OPT is valid until December 2024, and as far as I understand, SEVIS transfer is related to the school and should NOT pose an issue.
However, to to be on 100% SAFE side should I first proceed with the SEVIS transfer in August 2024 then submit my docs for the marriage-based Green Card probably in September 2024 but was wondering if i submit my GC application in may i would get extra 5 months until September.
