Hi,
I am an international student in Oklahoma on F-1 Visa. I went back home last year and came back 15 days after the classes started. On arrival I was told that my SEVIS got expired and I need to get a new SEVIS. After that I forgot to get it renewed and I realized now. This is all happened in January 2010.
What should I do now because my School DSO said that I am out of status and she suggested that I should go to my home country and come back? But this has a risk of not being allowed to re-enter. This is my final semester here in US and I will be leaving after this anyways. Is that a good solution that I keep on studying till I graduate and just try to get out without dealing with a new SEVIS?
