I want to apply green card through self-petition but I have a few things unclear. Would you please help me?
1) should the recommendation letters be sent to my home address or office address?
2) Do I need an official letter head for my petition letter?
3) Is it good to ask an international scholar to write a recommendation letter for NIW petition?

Thanks for your help!

What possible difference it can have?

2) Do I need an official letter head for my petition letter?
Are you an entity of some sort? Private business owner or certified professional? Otherwise what the official letterhead in self -petition case would be?

3) Is it good to ask an international scholar to write a recommendation letter for NIW petition?
As long as you have letters from Americans as well - yes.

(1) Since you are doing self filing, I would suggest ask your references to send their letters to your home. In the office, some of those letters may get misplaced. But remember, all these letters should be addressed to USCIS only and not to you.
(2) for self petition you do not need official letter head. Atleast I did not use any such letter head.
(3) Try to take letters from US citizens (preferably born white americans). People from National Laboratories, Federal Agencies should be preferred.
