Serive request ...... Question

Hello everyone

Yesterday i called USCIS the lady was so nice she offered me to do service request, she took my informations such address phone number my email address etc, eventually i asked her how long this service request takes , she said 45 DAYS:eek: , does anyone know anything about service request procedures ? do they usually send a letter or call you to inform you about anything they have done on ur case ? what gonna happen after 45 days? could they do something earlier?
any feedback will be appreciated:)

I really did think I missed it somewhere along the lines, because from the OP's timeline I didn't see anything unusual that would require a special service.
