Hello Everybody, I Went For My Citizenship Interview About A Month Ago And Was Told By The Uscis Officer That I Have Passed The Written And U.s History Test, She Then Told Me That My Background Check Is Not Completed Yet, So A Decision Can Not Be Made On My Application Yet, She Advise Me To Wait Untill It's Completed, She Also Told Me That I Will Receive A Oath Ceremony Letter As Soon As My Background Check Is Completed, But Today I Received A Letter From Uscis Form N-14 Asking Me To Explain Why My Last Name Wasnt Correct On One Of My Letter Of Disposition, This Is What Happened In 2000 I Was Arrested For Treaspassing And Got Finger Printed During The Paper Work I Think The Police Put In A Wrong Last Name, I Never Knew About This Mistake Untill The Uscis Wanted A Letter Of Disposition, So I Went To Court And Got It, Afterwards I Realized My Last Name Was Not Right, I Went Back To The Court To Correct It But The Clerk Told Me No One Can Correct It Since The Case Is Sealed, So I Took Her Word And Went To My Interview With The Letter Of Disposition And Presented It To My Interviewer She Did Not As Me Anything About It, But Now That They Have Written Me And Want Explaination I Am Confuse, So I Sent In The Explaination, After Sending It I Called The Officer Today And Told Her I Have Sent Her My Explaination And She Said When She Receive It They Will Make A Decision On My Case, I Asked Her Is My Background Check Is Still Not Completed Yet, She Said It Is Completed And I Have No Records, My Question Is If I Have No Record A My Background Check Came Out Good Then Why Are The Requesting Explaination On The Mistake On My Last Name And Can Anyone Tell Me What To Expect..?
