Hello!

My husband\'s and my I-485s were approved on Oct 12, 2000. We received the courtesy copies today. It was a big surprise as the message had still not changed
when I checked late in the afternoon, but the notices were there in the mail when I got home in the evening

The details are as follows:

ND: Sept 16, 1999
485 Approval date: Oct 10, 2000
EAC 99-267-*****
No RFE
Category was EB1-OR India.
FP 07/15/2000

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting. It seems that VSC is finally moving, and moving fast.

Congratulations ! I think VSC takes a week or 10 days to update the Automated system intentionally (In the mean time the approval notice is mailed out and probably reach the applicant). Otherwise, once people hear that their application is approved, they will start calling IIOs and take up their time.
