Sept Case Called IIO at 2:40 Pm on Oct 1

Called IIO (First time ever).
I was told that both my wife's and my case were issued RFE, but he does not know what the RFE is. Because of the ongoing auditing, the RFE will not be mailed out this week, and I should receive the RFE notice in two weeks.
Any idea what the RFE will be?

Wait and Watch

1. At this point wait and watch policy should be more helpful than putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. Let 8th Oct arrive and audit finish, your attorney will definitely receive RFE copy by then.
2. RFE could be anything, for eg: W-2, Paystubs, medical, photo's or fingerprints. Cannot guess.
So in nutshell donot panic and wait for the appropriate time.

Hi All, I am new in here. I was seeing this site for quite a while now. So just joined in today.

A question, how do you get the INS phone no during the day time. I try the no but it comes engaged all the time.: ( .?
 
I doubt the IIO is correct. VSC memo says they WILL issue RFE during audit. They have RFE backlog now, maybe that is why IIO asks you to wait 2 weeks.

My RFE details

I got REF but my wife's case is fine. It is for Medical report. INS officer thinks that he got the photocopy of the report , they need original. My doctor signed the report with black ink( that may be the reason,same doctor signed for both of us on same day with same pen !!!!! ). We got a new report signed in blue ink. I got the RFE letter after 10 days . (Issued on 9/19 , Lawyer got it on 9/27 and I got info on 9/30). SO wait....

When you required the second copy of your medical exam, did your medical exam time pass the one year mark?

I might get medical RFE because my wife did not take TD shot in August, 2001 (though she took TD shot in February, 2002, and mailed to INS via certified mail). I am not sure whether we could use the same medical results from last years exam (more than one year now).
