Seperate Oath Ceremony? Name changed and No Change?

Do they have a seperate Oath Ceremony for people who wants to change their names from those who don't need to change their names?

I wonder because, I am adding an "E" to my first name and my oath ceremony is on August 21 '09, but i read someone from another thread that he has his ceremony on August 19 '09. We both taking our ceremony at the same place/building, and I wonder bec. we are only 2 days apart, or do they have Oath Ceremony that often?

oh i hope so =[, tho its weird that eringo :mad: got to do his Oath 2 days before I do and i had my interview first! GRRRRRRRR =]

If you don't have a name change they can do an administrative naturalization outside of court (that's what they do in San Jose or San Francisco to name a couple of places). If you do a name change then it goes as court naturalization. It might be possible that Florida has both administrative and court naturalizations and they are scheduled in different days. I don't really know the answer to that as I don't know how the Florida office handles things. It is also possible that they just have court naturalizations and they just schedule people according to space available.

There were 90 people for the Oath Ceremony today and
we ALL had our name changed/ or add on letter to our names!

so yes, I guess they do separate Oath ceremony that way as well =]
