Yes you can do that, if they have a dual-intent visa that allows them to return to the US (i.e. H4 or L2, but not F2 or J2), and your priority date is still current when they return. The dates can move backward or become unavailable in any given month, so unless you are in EB1 you should not count on your date remaining current for the next 2 months.
