Separate AP (I-131) filing

I am going to do I-130/I-485 concurrent filing for my parents.
1) Can I file AP (I-131) in a later date while my parents have need to travel outside USA?
2) How long will take AP to approval normally?

i) Sure.
ii) Usually at least 90 days.

Better to file now just in case imo. Be aware though that if your parents accumulated 180+ days of unlawful presence in the US, they can be denied re-entry despite having been approved for AP.
