Dear All,

Finally after a long wait our I485's have been approved. I recieved the mails today morning, Thank god ...it was quiet a relief. thanks to Rajiv for maintaining this site. Here are my details

I485 RD : Sep'13, 2002
ND : Sep' 2002

1st Finger print : Nov 8th 2002.

Applied for AP renewal April 2nd week. ( I think April 12 or 13, Looks like this triggered the 2nd finger printing)
Recieved 2nd Finger print schedule in April 3rd week, scheduled for May13th.
However we went there April 29th. Earlier than the schedule.

Noticed that there was a change in the last update date in my profile on May20th ....but the text remained the same "recieved your finger prints on Nov 8th ....blah blah ...blah" ( This were the 1st finger prints)

Approved June 1st 2004.

So Sep people are getting 2nd FP notices...I am still waiting for mine :confused:

I am not sure if i need to get anxious here. My dates coincides with yours.
RD - Sept 11 2002.
Second FP done on April 13th 2004. The online update date shows May 6th 2004. Fingers crossed.

I wonder how it works. My friend with RD of Jan 2002 and I myself with Apr 2002 still waiting...

Good for BKOram but my dates are just like his (including FP1 Nov 5) but like gc092602, No FP2.
It's no longer the GC process - it is the GC wheel of fortune (round and round she goes, where she stops nobody knows) :D

Did your Attorney get the approval mail too? Is your update date changed to June 1 now.

Thanks for all the best wishes.

I know Sep'2002 is little too early for approval as lot of people before sep are waiting. I have given up on looking at the status once I registered on the site. As one of you said it is a wheel of fortune ...I had some misfortune during the labour and I140 stages, so this stage turned out to be little fortunate I guess .

Hope everyone gets it without so much waiting ...frankly It's quite a relief .

Good luck to everyone on the forum and Thanks to all of you ...It's a great help for someone in waiting and very good source of knowledge ( I wouldn't have known that registering helps .....and also AP might trigger opening of the case ...... kind of stuff with out these forums).

I don't think there is anything like the trigger theory. I did everything- address change, AP, AC21, registering etc etc- nothing has been triggered for me. :rolleyes:
