I think you familiar with the BCIS steps right.
you need to complete your 2 FP & 3 rd FP
It takes 4-6 months

So long wait to see the magic message.....Approved...
 
Street dog, I don't think you will necessarily have to have 2nd, and 3rd fps. There are a few cases where people have been approved without these.

If you do a search on the forum for "rfe" you will see other people's stories.

I too am waiting but only since November. I'm sure there are other people in the same boat as you. I'm going to stop checking BCIS daily (and also this forum!) and put it out of my mind as I had done for months before RFE.

Replied to rfe and rfe received by uscis on 9/5/03, did 2nd fp on 11/1/03, still waiting. Online message still shows response for rfe rec on 9/5/03.
