Friends, one of my co-worker 140 is approved this week.

NSC EB2 Concurrent
140/485 ND: Sep first week 2004

Cross your fingers you might be next....Good luck to all
 
do you have the other details of the approved case. like priority date?? substitute labor?? ND etc...
 
This is not the first Sept 04 approval that I've seen posted on this site. It gives me a little bit of hope even though I think I still have a long wait. There are still people from 2003 and early 2004 waiting.

Category : Skilled Worker or Professional (EB3 I Guess)
PD : Oct 2003.
I-140/I-485 : RD - April 22, 2004 AD - ??
FP : September 03 2004
EAD / AP - AD : June 15 2004

It’s a substitute labour, EB2, 140 and 485 concurrent, Nebraska Service Center. Here are the details.

140,485 Receipt Date - 08/31/2004

EAD Approved Date: 12/15/2004 (there was a query. I had to send copy of my drivers licence, in an enlarged format)

Advance Parole Approved Date: 12/16/2004

Finger Print Date: 12/10/2004

I have created my portfolio on USCIS website. Online status says 140 processing is generally taking 150 to 180days which i have crossed by end of February. It seems 485 will take between 570 and 600days. Nebraska is currently processing Sept 2003. I haven't seen a change of date for advanced degree category for quite a sometime. I don’t see any priority date mentioned on the receipts. I have observed lot of people mentioning their priority date even though they belong to EB2. Please explain. Shall I expect my 140 anytime in near future.
 
I wouldn't rely on 150-180 days for I-140 approval. My receipt date for my I-140 was April 22, 2004 and it will be 365 days by April 2005. Looks like the I-140 will not be approved until the I-1485 is ready to be adjudicated. Mine was concurrent filing EB3.

I agree with the comments above. My I140 is from Feb 19/2004. I am still waiting for the magic e-mail.

He is still in shock and not able to believe...YES HIS 485 also approved...Exactly 6 months...
 
Yeah I dont see what the fuss is about. If it is subst labor, it is quite expected. Infact that is the advantage of subst labor.

I think that is not a substitute labor also PD is End of 2003. That is what mentioned above.. Definately shocking..
