Sep 2003 EB2 I-140 Approved

Happy to inform that Just now I received Email from USCIS that my I-140 has been approved on Feb 26th. I guess NSC officers are working over time. God Bless them if they really work like that. I'm very happy and can use AC21 When ever I want. Hope my 485 will get approve pretty soon.

Could you please let me know what kind of info. we should provide while contacting senator ? Should be contact them via email or phone?
Do we normally get prompt response from Senator ? Please share ur info.

Thank you very much for the Wishes. To be frank to tell, I was not showing that much interest when every one on this forum saying, its better to contact Senator office. But I realized after waiting so long. I Went straight to Federal Bulding where Senator Office is. To the Front office, I explained my Situation and luckly at the front office she is from asia and she understands what the life as an Immigrant. She sent me to Immigration specalist to Senator and he took my Lin number and A number first name and Last Name. Added to that I gave a copy of my Receipt Notice. They told me that they will get back in a few days. I already posted this morning, about things Happened with Senator Office. BEcaz, they called me this morning and when I went their and heard my Case Approved and came back and see the status it says the old message. But it took Little time to Update their web site. My sentor Office Cattegorically Assured that my I-140 is approved. I do not know whether they did some thing or not. But After Consulting them, I heard this. So I Assume, some thing Happend by their Approach.

Is there any other way to contact senator? I live in NJ and i don't know where the Senator's office in our area. I was wondering if its ok to send an email to Senator?
 
I guess 'Yes'. You can drop an Email to them. But what I would say is search for their office number and call them. When You call you are not going to talk with senator striagt away. It will go to Front office then they will do necessarly. So Try giving a call.
 
talking to senator or congressman

I have been thinking of seeing our state congressman for a while. We should find more supports from different directions instead of waiting and watching. My case was filed in Dec 2003, I don't think we can get instant assistance now, but I'd like to express my concerns to the congressman, that is, why the process day was stuck in September for such a long time? We are applicants and we are also tax-payers! Shoudl they be responsible for us? In addition, are they processing cases randomly or in a sequence? Why the approval patten is so arbitrary and unreasonable? It brings much trouble to the applicants. Should they be a little bit open to the applicants? I want to find some people around to see congressman or write a letter together. I hope people here work together to put some presssure on USCIS.

You really deserved it. Unfortunately you had to put in extra efforts to get your due. Good luck for the 485. I am sure the Plastic card is also on its way.

Did they actually contact the NSC people before you went to their office this morning? Could it be just a coincidence?

I do not know whether they did some thing or not. I went to their office 2 weeks back and they only called to come this morning and as soon as i went their, Immigration specialist to senator took me into his office room and dialed one number and it immideatily asked to enter my lin number and then I heard the approved message.

what ever it might be a coincedence or they did some thing.. Bottom line is my I-140 is approved.
 
yep plastic card bottom line is your I-140 got approved. Congratulations.
MIne is also Sept. 2003, I really hope that mine gets approved soon

Thank you and I was about to put a post asking you whether you got approved or not. I see another Sep applicant in my post saying that his Wife 140 got approved. Hope you too will get approved soon. I'm waiting for my 485. But I'm happy with 140 approval. now I can feel that my file is not some where inthe rack covered with dust.
