Hi All,

Finally got the green card approval.

I unexpectedly received the approval notice by mail. I did not frequently check the status on line.

Stamped in San Francisco local office on 12/31. The process was smooth, without any question and it only took 1 and half hour. Arrived at 8:05Am, not many people there. The agent said it was a New year's gift for me.

Sure it is. Since the application was filed, it has been 2.5 years. Eventually i got it.

I am a silent monitor of this forum. Grateful for the contributions of the host of this forum and everyone posting in this forum.

It's a painful process. Freedom, we pay for it.

We achieved it. But nothing changes. We still have to go to work tomorrow.

Life is a jouney, enjoy your drive.

Dear Duke,

was your case transferred from VSC to San Francisco. Can u kindly help me with the following questions:

1. Was your case originally from san francisco ?
2. Was your case transferred from VSC to California service center?
3. Did you recieve any correspondence from VSC with regards to transfer from VSC to San Francisco?
4. If this transfer took place from VSC to san francisco , is it because you live in California?
5. My case is also from VSC but recently I checked on the website and it says the case got transferred to Nebraska service center.
6. Your case looks similar to mine and thats the reason I am trying to find out.

can u please answer these questions, it would be of great help to me and I would sincerely appreciate your reply.

Congrats

Congrats.
Did u move to SF? send in AR11? inform USCIS about change of address? use AC21?

I live and work in California but headerquarter of my company is in east coast. That's why my case was in Vermont but stamped in San Francisco. No transfering, no AR21.

Did you just apply for AP?

Sounds like your AP application triggerd the re-look at your application? It seems to be .. based on your dates.

duke2004,

congrats on your approval.

however, it bothers me to note that a Dec'16th 2003 ND has an EAC-02-xxx while theoritically it has to have EAC-03-xxx

another INS system goofup, i guess.

enjoy your freedom.
