sent wrong N400 application fee

just sent out the N400 application package, but forgot the fee had been adjusted, so the check included is still the old amount.

what should I do except wait? are they going to send everything back? how long?

thanks a lot?
 

I would call the Customer Service number and see what they say...hopefully this is one of those questions they can answer rather easily...

Its likely your application will be returned to you. CIS wont process your file till your money is in their pocket
 
I sent my N400 application in on May 10, 88 days short of 5 years.

I had prepared everything in advance and did not know that the fees had changed on April 29. It is now $320 + $70 for FP.

The entire application was returned to me May 22 with an indication to pay the new fee.

I resent the applciation today by express mail. My original applica was sent my normal mail by the way.

Thank you all very much for the reply, I sent out on May 7, not sure when can I get the package back.
