Sent in 485 last week, can I apply for EAD now?

Hi,
It was foolish of me to not send my EAD and AP applications along with I-485 that I sent about 8 days back. Can I apply now for the EAD and AP and if so, what should be the process and required documents. Please help. Also, how much time before I will get the EAD. If passed 90 days, can I get it in local office?

Yes you can apply for your EAD and AP. Follow instructions found on uscis.gov and include a copy of the receipt notice for the I-485 you received.

Did you apply before July 3oth or after?

I am on the same boat.My question is

Will the new I-765 and the new I-131 filing instructions(new Filling fees) apply to Forms I-765
and forms I-131 filed based on employment-based adjustment of status
applications filed pursuant to the July Visa Bulletin No. 107, if filed after
August 17, 2007?

No - they will be subjected to the new filing fees if filed after August 17, 2007.
