Sent i-485 month ago

HI everybody
I am new to all this. I do not know what EAD and other short cuts mean.
I got approved for i-140 (Section: Alien of Extraordinary Ability, Sec. 203(b)(1)(A)) at January. I filed i-485 1 month ago. And as I undestud I filed for work permit or something like that. And I send medical papers too. I didn\'t get recite or anything yet. What should I expect next and how thing work?

kosta its too early to expect any thing you need to wait atleast another 3 weeks.

usually after 45 days they will open your application ..thats what happened in my case , i sent my papers on July 10th and they opened it on 27th Aug ..so its kind of 6 to 8 weeks program so dont worry at this point ..
