Sent a letter to congressman office!

Tuesday I faxed a letter to my local Congressman office, I live in Rochester, NY. What is the normal response time that congressman office can get back us for a case status request? Does anybody have experiance with Amo Houghton congressman office?
I know some of them do not get back to our request but there is nothing wrong to give it a try.

Below are my details, please share your experience. Thank you

FP2 07/14/2004 (Did not get FP2 notice but requested a USCIS officer, and gave my FP2)

I did FP2 exactly the similar way in Memphis INS center. Can you pl congfirm that whether your case online updated with FP2 done message. I did just last week so I haven't seen any updates to my case.
 
Intersting update

My wife did her FP2 on the same day I did with FP2 Notice, but just now her
case updated with below message. Which is related to FP1 instead updating with FP2. Below is the message I got it in the e-mail.

On January 9, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made

Why the case updated with old FP1 instead FP2? For past one and half years it was not updated with the FP1 but after FP2 it is. Anything is wrong? Please shed light on this.
