My wife and I concurrently filed in Feb 2003. Because of various circumstances at the time, we did not have our medicals, and sent the I-485 in without them. EAD, AP, and FP all went through withouit a problem.
I did not want to have to resubmit an expired medical somewhere down the line, so I was in no rush to send one in.
Now, given that approval should be somewhere around 12 months from now, there is a question of what to do with the medical. Should we:
(A) Go and get the exam now, and submit it to VSC, hoping that it will link up with our I-485s; or
(B) Wait to be issued an RFE for a medical when the time comes?
I have been told that (B) is the best approach, but would be interested to hear of any thoughts on the matter.
